Creating Your Healing Drum with Dancing Feather
November 6-7, 2010
This
workshop will be held on the sacred
ground of the Gritman Essential Oil Company in Friendswood, Texas
Focus will be on creating Rim drums,
Each particpate will be given a personal channelled message byDancing Feather.
She will offer teachings on:
A
drum is a very personal experience. The sound/music that you create comes from
your intention, your sacred wishes, and your dedication to being the best
person you can be. You create the relationship. It touches your vibration, the
vibration of the drum, and the vibration of your surroundings. Together you
become one and the healing happens.
As
easy as this is to say, instruction and guidance is needed. Dancing Feather and
Clyde Wood will guide you through this process. Dancing Feather will gather the
hides, the rims, the bowls, and the tools. You can buy special crystals,
stones, beads, feathers, and totems here, but you are encouraged to bring your
own. As soon as you decide to come to this event, it begins. Your world will
take you to the special items that will be part of your drum and of course you
may find your sacred items here. These items contribute to the special healing
quality of your drum. In this way, your drum can also be a rattle.
Dancing
Feather, Clyde Wood and Amy are powerful medicine people who will hold the
energetic space for you through the offering of good energetically blessed
food, powerful transformative instruction and a direct connection with Mother
Earth. Become part of Mother Earth and create from her being your sacred
healing drum.
The Details
Day One will focus on the creation of the drum itself, crystal
instruction, selection or sharing of your sacred objects and healing teachings.
Day Two will focus on learning the sacred practices and
connecting to your self, the group, and the earth. The drum will become a personal
healing tool.
Lunch
and light breakfast will be provided each day. For those staying for the sweat,
dinner will be provided. Your food preferences need to be known. Please let Amy
be aware of any allergies or food issues. She is able to accommodate your
wishes and is proficient in many food styles. It is important to let her know ahead of time, it is difficult for her if you wait until the day of the seminar. Amy wants you
to have the best food and the best experience possible.
